Procurement Specialist

In Planeta DeAgostini we are looking for a Procurement Specialist for the Collectibles Division.

Goal of the position:

Plan and carry out CMC purchasing activities, interacting with suppliers and making sure that the purchasing process goes smoothly and that the goods are delivered on time

Resposabilities: 

Production Planning Info Collection:

• Manage and collect CMC production planning information (including gifts, upselling, flowpacks) for all titles and countries. Specifically, collect updated product demand and inventory information quantities.

Purchasing Execution and Supplier Management:

• Pursue the purchasing optimization strategy (e.g. Orders grouping, consolidating shippings departure from China/Bangladesh, MOQ,...)
• Coordination of dates before placing orders
• Generate and maintain orders in the ERP system (SAP)
• Managing and reviewing order confirmations, monitoring delivery deadlines, sending reminders
• Monitor order processing

Liaise with:

• CMC Procurement responsible to highlight possible issues
• Finishing and Printing Team to have a common and unique view per collection
• Import Export Team for updates on the timeline of incoming goods or goods ready for export and in case of problems
• Operations Stock Team to have input of information about stock recovery
• Admin Team for checking invoices accuracy and clarify any differences with the supplier
