About us

Located in Davie, Florida, Broward International University (BIU) is a private institution licensed by the Florida Commission for Independent Education (License #4619).  The University offers 100% online academic programs in Business, Education, and Technology both in Spanish and English.

 

Main functions

Program Managers are responsible to facilitate a smooth academic journey to our students during their time in our university. They act as academic coordinators ensuring a successful relationship between our students, faculty and our university.

  • Responsible for the management of the virtual campus (BlackBoard).
  • Creation of classrooms in our virtual campus.
  • Monitor academic performance based on students’ connections
  • Train and assist students and faculty on the use of the virtual campus.
  • Evaluate faculty performance and student satisfaction and create KPI’s to gauge the quality of our programs.
  • Complete and keep track of some payments (student tuition and university providers).
  • Manage the evaluation of foreign degrees.
  • Answer inquires to students and faculty.
  • Administrative support

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Education or Business Administration preferred
  • Bilingual in Spanish and English is a must.
  • Experience in the Education management will be valued
  • Strong computer skills and advance level of excel
  • Knowledge of BlackBoard Collaborate will be valued.
  • Detail oriented and organized.
  • Excellent communication skills, oral and written.
  • Proactive, service-oriented attitude.
