Located in Davie, Florida, Broward International University (BIU) is a private institution licensed by the Florida Commission for Independent Education (License #4619).  The University offers 100% online academic programs in Business, Education, and Technology both in Spanish and English.  BIU’s mission is to research, design, and implement innovative online Learning and teaching methodologies conducive to achieving effective learning, developing critical thinking, team dynamics, cultural sensitivity, and reignite imagination and creativity to use existing information to further advance knowledge and solve problems challenging our local and global societies.

Broward International University needs to recruit a Marketing Manager for its workplace in Davie, Broward County, Florida.

 

About The Role

  • Design and supervision of the Marketing Plan. Strategic vision and Roadmap for the school. It is designed and executed annually but linked to a three-year strategic plan.
  • Control of the department's budget & objectives. As the maximum responsible of this area in the company, he must supervise the budgets and expenses that are made in the development of his functions, establishing the necessary resources to carry out the marketing plan, assigning them to the projects according to the priority and viability and controlling their correct use.
  • Development and follow-up on the approved strateg. It must maintain a constant supervision of how the strategies and actions are being developed and executed, quickly correcting possible deviations and adapting the Marketing Plan to the changes in the market and in the evolution of the company to achieve the annual objectives.
  • Customer and stakeholder relationship management Creation, control and knowledge of the different types of potential, current and alumni customers. Development of the communication plan, strategy and brand building in this relationship, as well as with other stakeholders.
  • Coordinate and develop the work team. As a team leader, you will need to have solid skills in human capital management. Your objectives will be to improve the motivation, involvement and promotion of the talent of your collaborators.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Marketing required.
  • 7+ years of related marketing experience.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Ability to prioritize tasks efficiently and manage multiple projects/investment opportunities
  • Highly organized with meticulous attention to detail and BI Oriented
  • Strong analytical, verbal and written communication skills
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office Suit.
  • Fluent in spoken and written English required
  • Fluent in Spanish highly desirable
  • A self-starter who is interested in working in an entrepreneurial environment
  • Comfortable working in a small office environment
  • Willing to take the initiative and good team player
  • Of the highest level of personal integrity, honesty, professionalism and judgement
